Personal data protection
The organization provides services in accordance with its founding charter. Its main activity is the provision of social and legal protection of children as defined by Act No. 359/1999 Coll., on the Social and Legal Protection of Children.
The organization processes personal data in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter referred to as the "General Regulation," and Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the Processing of Personal Data.
We are the data controller of the personal data, which we process primarily for the following purposes:
- providing social and legal protection of children,
- providing educational and professional services,
- ensuring contractual relationships,
- marketing and fundraising.
Specifically, personal data is collected and processed as necessary to fulfill a legal obligation arising from Act No. 359/1999 Coll., on the Social and Legal Protection of Children.
For educational events, we request consent for the collection of data required to organize the event and issue certificates in accordance with applicable legislation. We also request consent for taking photographs and videos. Photographs and videos taken during educational and other events are used for promotional and marketing purposes.
We do not collect or process photographs and videos from which children could be identified without the consent of their legal guardian.
During the processing of personal data, there is no automated decision-making that would result in actions or decisions that would interfere with an individual’s rights or legitimate interests.
The granted consent to the collection and processing of personal data represents a freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous indication of the data subject's wishes for the processing of personal data for the specified purpose. The information provided for giving consent includes information about the possibility to withdraw consent at any time.
Personal data is processed only for the necessary period, which is individual for each processing purpose. After this period, personal data is either disposed of or archived in accordance with applicable legislation.
In connection with the processing of personal data, everyone has the right to access their personal data, to its rectification or erasure, or to restriction of processing, to object to its processing, and also to exercise the right to data portability and other rights under the General Data Protection Regulation.
You can exercise your rights and submit requests to the organization's director. Requests will always be assessed and handled in accordance with the relevant legislation. If you disagree with how your requests and applications are handled, you have the option to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection.
